Purvis in Paris

We went to Paris this month for the first time ever, and fell for it hard just like everybody else does. Here are some of the things I Instagrammed:

I was on the lookout for vintage French club chairs. I spotted this one in a a small art gallery:

The highlight for me was the day spent at the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen flea market, where I bought some old English medicine balls and a pair of (reproduction, I later learned) boxing gloves:

I returned to America with a box of Pierre Hermé macarons (not pictured in the photo below) for my Runner’s World coworkers —

and with the end song from Ratatouille stuck in my head:

(We watched it in our hotel of the course of two nights. My favorite movie set in Paris.)
